bugs
It's weird that some people try to take bug's feelings into consideration and push bugs outside rather than squash them. The idea i guess is that they are expanding their sphere consideration to include lowly animals like bugs. But if a human came into my house and started sucking my blood, I think I would try to kill them rather than just lead them to the door.

Rap Music
I've been slackin on the bloggin. I've been running out of thoughts to put on this blog. I thought I'd share some rap music with you.
I've been listening to this this dude called Edan. He has an album called Beauty and the Beat. Pretty interesting/unique dude I think. He's kinda like a psychedelic rapper. Uses a lot of colorful and imaginative imagery. Also samples a lot of psychedelic rock songs from the 60s. Here are some lyrics
His lyrics are good but I don't think he aggressive macho sounding tone matches his subject matter.
Another good song by him is called Promised Land.
Another rapper I've been listening to a lot is Brother Ali. I blogged about how awesome he was a while back but he has some new album out called The Truth Is Here. This dude is good at rapping and has really nice beats. Another good thing is that he doesn't rap about generic gangsta bznz like all the other fools copying each other. He raps about real stuff in his life like his son so when good stuff happens to him I am actually happy for him. Like he has a song on this new album about how his life is awesome now and he is on tour with his idol Rakim. Here are some lyrics from one song Little Rodney.
This album is so good its redic. I've already rated three songs on it 5 stars in my iTunes. Unlike Edan, Brother Ali has an awesome voice. He sounds like a preacher man. On this album I also recommend Good Lord and The Believers although really they are all top notch.

Ant
I saw this tiny little ant on the sidewalk today lugging this slightly less tiny twig. Actually I'm not sure it was big enough to be a twig. Perhaps just it was just a piece of a twig. It was quite small but still like six times the size of the ant. Ants are obviously super strong for their body weight, but this little guy was still struggling. When I saw him struggling there I thought about helping him out and carrying him to his destination, but I couldn't tell where he was aiming for. Would that have counted as a good deed?

Grocery Store
I noticed today that the yogurt went from 10/$5 last week to 8/$4 today. I'm glad I don't work at a grocery store.

Story
This is a true story from back in the day when I was working in the laser lab at UofR. I did not even change the names.
One day Arun was eating a bowl of fruit as part of his lunch. He went down the hall to vending machine to get a drink. While he was gone Ted and I poured several sugar packets on his bowl of fruit. Then when he came back he noticed that there was something on his fruit but we told him it was salt. He was going to throw it away but Ted ate one and told him that it still tasted pretty good. So he tried one and his face cringed. "This is soooo salty. Gross!" lol. the end.
